How is Cocoa Butter made?
Cocoa butter is made by pressing ground, milled high quality Cacao nibs from Idukki, India to make a cacao paste. This process separates the thick and creamy butter from the fibrous powder.
Benefits of Cocoa Butter
- Penetrates layers of skin for deep moisture and skin repair
- Prevents strech marks if used regularly
- Relives dry, cracked or peeling skin
- Helps stop the itching of stretching skin
- Strengthens and regenerates skin
- Loaded with vitamins E and K which are essential to good skin health
- Full of saturated oleic, saturated stearic and palmitic acids all beneficial to skin
- Adds shine to hair and softens hair strands
- Great for dry scalp
Usage
Drop a pea-size dollop of cocoa butter in your hands and rub together to melt, and then apply directly to the skin. If you whip it into one of our luscious body butter recipes, apply much as you would any other cream.
Storage
Keep the jar in a cool and dry place with lid tightly closed. If it is too hot & humid, store in fridge.
Please note:
Butters often melt in transit to higher temperature states during the summer months. Due to temperature fluctuations, ‘fat blooms’ will occasionally appear on the surface of cocoa butter. This happens when the fat solids separate and then re-cool, resulting in a spotted look. This is completely normal and not a cause for concern.
This is the first time I ever smelled coco butter, it smells like nestle milk chocolate 😋 .. it is a good moisturiser.
The cocoa butter has a pleasant smell. It instantly made me feels fresh after application. I use it as a body butter to keep my skin nourished.
The butter made my skin so soft. I have tried alot of moisturizers from many brands but I didn't get any result as close to this. The smell of this butter is so good and it keeps my skin soft and smooth for 2 days 😌 in one use.
works really well on hair. you just need a tablespoon of it and add ur favourite carrier oil , heat it by by double boiler method and apply it to ur scalp and ends, wash it after desired time. really helps in managing frizz, smells like cocoa powder which my mom uses for baking
